13. National Dialogue on Values

The NWMO, in collaboration with Canadian Policy Research Networks, conducted a national research project to better understand the values that Canadians expect to be reflected in an approach to the long-term management of used nuclear fuel. A representative sample of 462 Canadians in 12 cities took part in deliberative dialogues during the winter of 2004. The project findings are reported here.
