Public Comment Period
The Joint Review Panel for the Deep Geologic Repository Project for low and intermediate level radioactive waste announced on February 3, 2012 the start of the six-month public comment period on the adequacy of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and documents in support of the application for a Licence to Prepare the Site and Construct. Please refer to the attached News Release for details on the public comment period and panel orientation session.
Please note that in mid-2012 the Joint Review Panel announced the end date of the comment period would be extended. More recently the Joint Review Panel announced the end date of the comment period is May 24, 2013.
