The NWMO Hosts Open House in South Bruce

This image shows two South Bruce community members looking at the new used fuel container model at the open house.

Area residents looked at a model of the new container design proposed to safely contain used nuclear fuel in the deep geological repository.

Residents of the Municipality of South Bruce and area had an opportunity to share their views about Canada’s plan for the long-term management of used nuclear fuel at a recent open house.

Participants also had an opportunity to have conversations about planning for preliminary borehole drilling, the updated project description and the results of preliminary economic modelling.
