Procurement
Working with NWMO Procurement
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) spends a significant portion of its annual budget to acquire goods and services required to accomplish its various activities and programs. A quality procurement process will enable the NWMO to receive good value for its expenditures with suppliers being treated fairly and ethically.
It is the practice of the NWMO to acquire goods and services that result in supply arrangements at the most effective net cost, in the correct quantities, of the appropriate quality, and from the most responsive and responsible source.
To assist us and provide our vendors with a time/cost saving mechanism to view and bid on our opportunities, we are using the services of Biddingo (Biddingo.com)
Biddingo offers a number of services free of charge:
1. Opportunity Alerts – Vendors can register with Biddingo to receive e-mail alerts.
2. Service Options
• Biddingo provides some key time-saving services. Vendors who choose to purchase an annual subscription fee ($250/year) from Biddingo will have the ability to download unlimited bid documents from any buying organization directly to their computer using the Biddingo service.
